Night at the Lake of the Woods
The lake was really pretty with pine trees all around it. As the sun went
down, the moon came out. The lake looked really pretty in the moon light,
though the picture doesn't quite do justice to it.
We setup our tents in a clump of trees. We used the rain flaps to give us some
protection from the cold. It was also quite windy, so we used stones to keep
the tents from flying away.
The lake is surrounded by hills on all sides...
It turns out, that it was Sonal's birthday that day. So we celebrated it with
a red wine. I am told that red wine lowers cholesterol, so we were actually
improving our health.
After dinner we polished off the remainder of the wine and chatted for some
time. It was really quite chilly, as can be seen from our attire. Then we all
turned in for the night.
