My Leisure Activities ...

Come to think of it I don't really have a proper hobby. Actually my problem has been that I get bored with whatever I am doing after some time.

Anyway I enjoy reading books a great deal. I enjoy reading about physics and mathematics. Richard P. Feynman is my favourite physicist and one of my favourite authors. I admire him a lot. I find his books very interesting. I also liked reading Godel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid by Douglas R. Hofstadter.

I also read a lot of science fiction. My favorite authors include Isaac Asimov, C. J. Cherryh, Ursula K. Le Guin and Larry Niven.

I also love to play table tennis and chess, but I never seem to find the time to play them. I also love watching football and basketball a great deal. In my earlier life in India, I used to be an avid fan of the Indian cricket team.

Well I do a bit of photography now and then. Nothing major, photos of friends and sceneries mostly. I use a Nikon N50 SLR camera. Check out some of my photographs here.

My latest passion is to build robots with the Lego Mindstorms robot building set. The possibilities are endless. I have actually designed and built a walking robot with it. Maybe I will put up some pictures when I have the time.
